Word on the street is that Keegan Hyland has been practicing, and is due to make his return tonight, in a huge game against cross town rival Deering. Hyland, the states top player, who's been sidelined the entire season thus far,with a groin injury, will make his return to an SP team that boasts an 8-0 record in his absence. Jr. Hoop Hall Classic (MBNation 14U)

The MBNation 14U team has been the talk of the State in recent weeks, but will such local success translate into success on the road? Time will tell!

The team travels to Springfield Jan 15-17 to play in the Jr Hoop Hall Classic. Another exclusive event brought to New England by Basketbull. The field looks strong, and should be a good berometer on where the team stands regionally.

The team has been playing, older more mature players, in hopes of being better prepared...

Mr Basketball:
Indiana Faithful - Cheverus
The young mans all around play has the Stags at 8-0, and blowing teams away. He's a wizard offensively, with his fancy passes and unorthadox touch around the basket. Defensively his anticipation and hand speed, combined with his length, makes him a nightmare to opposing PG's. Cheverus is talented, but Faithful is without a dought the leader.

They are first in a pair of categories in the latest NCAA II National Rankings through January 3rd. Out of 270 teams, the Falcons lead the country in scoring offense and steals per game, ranking in the top-10 in seven total categories. See complete story by clicking on url below.

DI Sacred Heart Calls on 3!

The University of Sacred Heart was a main stay at the MBNation games in July, and now I know why. The DI school has a need for guards that can put it in the basket, and we have just that.

The STAFF was very impressed with the overall ability of Combo Guard Alex Furness, pleased with the size and range of Andrew Shaw, and intrigued by the way James Ek could knock it down in spirts....
